The State of the Collective

Dearest members of the Northfield Music Collective,
The providers of our online social network, likely fueled by greed, have demanded more money from us while simultaneously robbing us of our music sharing capabilities. While we are happy to have increased our monthly payment, we acknowledge the loss of a communal music player to be immensely problematic, and are looking into alternative options.

For the time being, we recommend that members look to the mirror facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/NorthfieldMusic/) as the up-to-date point of action. Furthermore, we encourage members who wish to share their music to e-mail media files and accompanying descriptions to northfield.music.collective@gmail.com; please mind file sizes, as well as the fact that we unfortunately have no access to files previously uploaded to the NMC site.

Please, remain active in our online community, and stay tuned for updates regarding the future of the Collective--both online and in Northfield proper.
