Welcome to the Northfield Music Collective (NMC), an organization geared towards facilitating coordination and communication between Northfield musicians as well as musicians and the public. Herein you'll find a social network dedicated solely to the music of Northfield, Minnesota. Upon registering, you'll have the ability to post music, photos, videos, events, and blog entries (and registration is free).
In addition, you'll be able to enter your band, venue or self into the NMC directory, in which you have your very own customizable page. Part of the available customization is the addition of optional applications, of which a few of the more useful are featured below:
• Box.net File Sharing - useful for uploading work-in-progress media files for perusal, set-lists, or the like.
• thebizmo Microstore - allows users to sell music, tickets, and other merchandise within their NMC page.
• Text Box - allows for the addition of custom code, for those savvy in that sort of thing.
The NMC is certainly an emerging organization, and it is centered around this website. We hope that people will feel free to express their thoughts, desires, concerns and criticisms regarding the organization, and that any and all members of the Northfield community get themselves involved. We aim not to be an exclusive organization, but rather one which unites those passionate about music in the wonderful and unique community that is Northfield, Minnesota.
